I was resting on the couch for few minutes while the kids were napping...or so I thought Stella was napping. She scared me by sneaking up on me and leaning over the edge of the couch with her masking tape/name tag over her mouth. Jeez, what a goof!

Just a silly picture of them eating. Remy's really good at entertaining himself during Stella's swim lesson. His snakes come in handy! We went to Remy's 2 yr doctor checkup: 26.5 lbs. He lost a few pounds from recently being sick and probably just from moving around so much, but he's still healthy! He's not too far behind Stella. No wonder we constantly have people asking us if they're twins. Seriously. At least two people asked me that today. LOL.

May - Trip to LS

NEW Zoo with Auntie Chelsie. I can't believe Remy is two already! Wow! He loved his car cake and kept saying, "car racers," which is a pretty common phrase for him. The kids enjoyed the candy and cookie buffet at Cory's wedding (and I did, too)! We stopped at Grammie Chris's house and a park nearby on our drive back from Little Suamcio. The kids had a blast playing and Remy looks pretty cool in his shades. Remy got a geo trax set for his birthday and he had his eyebrows raised the entire time he was playing with it - as if he couldn't believe it was really his!

May - Trip to LS

We made a trip back to WI to go to Cory & Ashley's wedding. These kids travel like champions now...a little lunch, nap, and we LOVE stopping at the gas station with the huge outdoor play area. Remy couldn't wait to sit in the high chair with the metal tray...lots of banging to do! I'm not sure what it is about that high chair because Stella loved it, too. We went to the NEW Zoo with Auntie Chelsie, Sara, Laney, and Taylor. What an awesome zoo! We fed the giraffes, goats, and picnicked afterward.

Remy and Stella both love swim lessons at Foss Swim School, but for different reasons. Remy totally digs this mini-shark reading chair and Stella loves her fellow classmates and silly teacher. Remy is always hauling out my pots and pans and cooking on the bench in our dining room. I asked him what he was cooking and he said, "my pants!" LOL...he had taken off his pajama pants and he put them in the pot. He's also drinking my new fav iced tea drink in the tub. There's never a bad time for tea!

Lots of dancing, making messes, and being silly. You have to have noticed Remy's signature camera face by now...as soon as I say smile he forms this huge "O" with his mouth. What a goof! Stella gave me a really sweet Mother's Day gift - I love her answers!

Lots of playing again: Remy ends up in the middle of his tiny circle track and Stella's very organized with her figurines. Always interested to see what they're up to. We played at the park and at Burnsville Mall and decorated Owen's birthday present.

Stella got a new bike with training wheels. We met our friends, Stella & Owen, at the park and all they wanted to do is pick dandelions. Every time Remy heard a lawn mower his eyes would light up. Haha! Stella's dance class danced at a local assisted living village and the residents couldn't get enough of them. She got so many hugs and compliments and she was, of course, on cloud nine the entire time. Thanks to Pinterest, we spend some time playing with finger paint inside ziplock bags - fun project! We also said goodbye to the green sports car!

Remy was my helper - helped me put our screens on the windows, washed dishes, etc. Our neighbors apricot tree smells amazing and looks amazing with all of the pink blossoms. We celebrated Lee Jay's 40th Birthday party downtown...cute pic of us with Faith:)

I'm definitely playing catch up with my photo blog, as I'm almost two months behind in posting photos, so some may be out of order, but I thought they'd be fun to see anyways! Stella got a new scooter from Great Grandma Jo-Jo and she's been using it a lot! She was very picky about her scooter...she didn't want one with three wheels, but one with only two wheels like the one that Auntie Chelsie and Uncle Chase use to do tricks. She's been practicing her "tricks" weekly in our driveway. Auntie Chelsie was watching these "tricks" and posed for a picture with Remy, but he's too quick for my camera! We took a quick overnight trip to Duluth to buy our new SUV - Toyota Sequoia - and the kids had a blast swimming and shopping. Here they decided to surf naked after going swimming. I love snapping shots of Remy when he's engrossed in his playtime. He will often times lay on his side on the floor while reading books, playing with his train set, etc. So cute.
