March 11 - Stella's Birthday Party
Stella's 4! Wow! We celebrated her 4th birthday a day early with her friends and family at Chuck E Cheese. Lots of fun was had by all:)
March
We jumped in puddles, played at the park, and just enjoyed having Grammee visit. Stella kicked her first goal in at her soccer game, too!
March
What amazing 70-80 degree weather we've been having! This is usually the time of year where winter gets to be a little too long, but we've been out in shorts and t-shirts playing in the amazing weather. Grammee Chris came for a visit to celebrate Stella's birthday at Chuck E Cheese. Remy & Grammee enjoyed some tea time together.
It's March!
We traveled to Little Suamico to catch up with family and celebrate Stella's Birthday. Granny Joy made an amazing Barbie cake and family and friends came over for a fun birthday party. Hog wash, frosting, and lots of ranch dip, followed by lots of presents and play time with friends made for an excellent day. Stella was on cloud 9 and couldn't stop talking enough to even eat her cupcake! (What's new, right?!) LOL. We went to Badger Bouncers with G'Pa Darrell and all Remy wanted to do was play a driving game and Auntie Chelsie and Remy enjoyed a look at a plow truck down the street in the middle of their sledding session.

Lots of silly pictures: Remy loves wearing my sunglasses and Stella sings along to her CD's while we drive. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not squirting paint out for Remy or getting our markers out for Stella - they just love art and crafts. It's such a mess, but they enjoy it. I was also going through our mail and obviously Remy was, too. He enjoyed the Victoria Secret catalog.

February was a busy, busy month for us - mainly with the photo booth. We participated in the Prior Lake Bridal Show, set-up at two weddings in one weekend, and also took part in the 5th Annual Goodwill Bridal Showcase. I've included a picture from the showcase because brides were lined up outside the doors and their was a mad dash once they opened the doors at 9AM. Mark and I have also started to plan on having at least one date night in each month and this was a lot of fun. We picked out build-your-own six pack of beers and raced and drank after the kids went to bed. We're easy to please!!! LOL! The kids painted the bath tub with colored shaving cream (fun!), had lunch at the children's museum, and Stella and I built a snowman...the only one this year!

Mid-February
Stella & Remy opened up their Valentine's Day present from Grammie Chris - so excited! We (Stella mainly) wrote down what we love about Daddy/Mark on our easel to surprise him when he got home from work. Mark caught me trying to fit in one more text before my late night workout, Remy's being silly with sunglasses, and he's mixing up some oatmeal breakfast cookies.
February
We spent our day today at the MN Zoo and Stella and Remy pretended to nap in the beehives. We also met Brooke, Lindsay, and Cora at Jumps & Downs. Remy can cruise up and down any jumpy thing, no matter what height it is now! We went to open gym on Friday at the Community Center and even brought our bikes to ride indoors, had snacks after soccer practice on Saturday morning, and played with our PlayDough on Sunday.

Stella got another haircut at Kid's Hair. We did some experimenting with our waffle iron and made eggs, buttermilk waffles, and chocolate chip cookie - all on our waffle maker. (We got the idea from someone else's blog). It all turned out great and the kids thought it was really neat. Mark, Stella, and Remy were drawing, Remy's cooking (again), and we've been fitting in a lot of exercise at our local malls. After walking a few miles at the MOA before it opened, we ended up playing at Lego Land.
January
We've been doing lots of hanging out at home to play with all of our new toys from Christmas. Again, we're going to open gym at the Community Center where they run like mad for an hour and a half with other kids! (Love it!) Remy had a double ear infection and Stella had one ear infection, too. Poor guys! That never keeps Remy out of the kitchen though!
January
Stella started playing soccer through the YMCA on Saturday mornings. She loves all of the running, kicking, and of course...the socializing! She has become friends with another little boy named Owen. They run up and down the court holding hands sometimes! Soccer lasts for about 45 minutes and then ends with a much needed snack and juice box. Remy has been starting to say he wants to go potty. He's had success twice now, but I think he just likes to sit on it to receive lots of attention. Stella enjoys reading him books while he's on there. We've been going to Shakopee Community Center's open gym most Friday's to enjoy some indoor play time and we've had babysitting swaps with our friends (Owen & Kendall) and frosted sugar cookies. We love going to Edelweiss Bakery and this is where Remy is seeing eye to eye with fish, Penelope. Penelope is the Edelweiss pet.
