Mid-November

My kitchen helper again - squeezing fresh orange juice for our salmon. We sold our mini-crib today to a expecting couple from Uptown who live in a 1 bedroom house...looks like we're not the only ones that make our babes sleep in the closet! LOL! Remy has been extremely interested in art lately - I'm actually surprised at our neat he is with the markers, paint, and crayons. We had our first major snow fall today - it was perfect snow for a fort and snow angels. Goof ball, Stella, is pretending to be a chair.

Early November

Remy's my little sidekick in the kitchen. Both him and Stella love chopping anything that I give them. Stella was still napping so Remy got to chop up some apple for our snack. Next, Stella and Remy are getting crafty making Grampa Tim's birthday cards. Once a month, we have a babysitting swap with our friends, Emily & Andrew. Today we watched their cuties, Owen & Kendall, and it was unusually warm for November so we had a lot of outside time. Remy's discovered his nipples - I found him trying to stick Trix Cereal to his nipples!! Haha!

November

After their bath, it's now a routine to get wrapped up in towels, then get covered by a blanket, and giggle together. They shriek if I try to get them dressed too soon. Stinkers! Stella fell in love with this Cleopatra costume from Target. We'll see more of this next Halloween! It was such a cold day outside, but the kids at a great time at the park. Sauces...Remy can never get enough!

November

Hooray for double, double days again! I spent approximately $80 and received $36 dollars in coupons back to get milk and eggs for free! Below, Remy makes a mess by feeding himself yogurt (and Stella's enjoying some, too). The last picture shows our PB & chocolate chip cake that we baked in Stella's easy bake oven.

What a fun Halloween we had! We hosted our annual Halloween party for Stella & Remy's friends, had Grammee Chris over for a visit, carved pumpkins, and went trick or treating!!

Mid October

Remy's still really sick, but excited to get a ghost spinner wand in the mail from Grammee Chris!

Stella loves receiving mail! Here she's opening her Halloween package from Grammee Chris, since we missed seeing her on our way home because Remy was sick. Thanks, Chris!

Stella's wearing her safety glasses and getting ready to turn wrenches with Dad! Doug also had his car in the garage, so Stella was excited to have another friend to talk to!

Every week I empty out our Diaper Genie, which holds all of the really stinky diapers. Anyways...we have a funny name for the bag of diapers - the turd snake. Here, I found Stella in Remy's room cradling the turd snake! She has a zillion dolls and here she is with the turd snake!

Early October

I couldn't resist showing off these pics...Just a normal Saturday afternoon at Granny & Gramp's house. We always find something fun to do, such as a scooter skillz competition! Note - no pics of myself as I could barely get mine off the ground! LOL! We got to meet my cousin Jess's son Gabriel for the first time (He'll be 1 at the end of this year)! What a sweet, good humored boy. It never fails - Stella and Remy are exhausted and pass out on the way home. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early because Remy was sick:(

Early October

Every year we go to Sever's Corn Maze - this year the theme was from outer space. Stella and Brooke have their Martian hats on. We also made a trip to LS to visit for a long weekend. Mark stayed behind to finish painting Remy's room and our upstairs bathroom. Stella and Remy really enjoyed Forrest's new dog bed - pretty luxurious! I think Stella's added a scooter to her Xmas list, too! The picture of Stella and the baby shows what I see when I walk into the sibling care room after Remy and I are done with our Early Childhood class. She's always rocking some baby or feeding another...
